When the lightning strike occurs, the induced overvoltage on the metal conductor is discharged to the earth. The phenomenon of lightning strikes formed. (3) Protection against lightning wave intrusion: refers to the high-voltage shock wave of direct lightning strike or inductive lightning intrusion along overhead lines or metal pipelines, which accounts for a considerable proportion of lightning hazards. The main protection methods are: adding a tubular or valve type arrester to the overhead line, and grounding the metal pipe at multiple points.
(4) Protection of ball mines: At present, due to the mechanism of the occurrence of ball mines, there is no clear protection method. Generally, the method of lightning arrester or full shielding is used for protection.
